Ugly building 1

ontemporary architecture gives most regular humans the heebie-jeebies," says this article ("Why You Hate Contemporary Architecture"
). In case you wonder what the authors are talking about, here are some examples, built in about the last 60 years:

If it doesn’t make you feel desperately, crushingly alone, it’s probably not a piece of prize-winning contemporary architecture."
This style is called Brutalism. But the
NYT says this building is a "playful" sort of Brutalism
. I'd say it's more like "soul-numbing."
