Finding
points of common interest between Israelis and Palestinians must be
challenging, but they do have a “common language: tech
management.” Commerce passes the borders regularly, startups are
beginning to transform the Palestinian economy, and business
partnerships grow among parties of both sides.
John
Chambers, CEO of Cisco, and other American tech executives also “push
their Israel subsidiaries to outsource research and development
projects to Palestinian startups or to hire local Arabs.”
Creating
inter-connected prosperity could be a big part of the lasting peace
that is in everyone's best interest.
