Gender gap
A long-standing gender gap in the U.S. separates women from men in terms of 4-year college bachelor degrees, but it may not be the gap most people would expect. For 35 years (since 1982), most bachelor degrees have been earned by women. For every 100 women earning those degrees in 2016, only 74 men got one. It's a 25.6% gender gap in favor of women.
