Afghanistan #1

We are still at war in Afghanistan. We've had troops there since fall of 2001, only weeks after the 9-11 attack on America. Just in 2017, "almost 3,500 civilians were killed and 7,500 injured in extremist attacks and military strikes."

But those civilian deaths are down 9% compared to the number from 2016. According to this article, America's military are saving lives with their presence in the country.
